Potluck Events

Our meetings follow the seasons. 

Even if you have no experience in the topic, come anyway.  That will be only one of many things we discuss. 

Come meet some people who live near you who grow and make some fantastic food.

Format
socialize, discuss seasonal topic, potluck meal
2 - 3 hours
meet in someone's home or outdoors
free of cost, open to anyone
bring a dish to share
children of all ages are welcome

 February vegetarian and vegan cooking
 March planning, preparing a food garden 
 April native edible weeds (weed walk at farm)
 May
 urban community gardens
 June weeding, pests, garden care
 July canning, dehydrating, freezing (jam making?)
 August gleaning, untended orchards
 September grain grinding at Union Mills Homestead
 October fermenting and pickling
 November beer, wine, and cider making
